Tired

this morning I did 75 pullups (kipping), 146 push ups, and 210 bodyweight squats in 20min. AKA 14.5 rounds of "Cindy". In retrospect, that seems like a lot of exercise. Especially with the heat. It makes me tired just thinking about, although it didn't seem bad at the time.

We got another air conditioner, but I was too tired to set it up. Maybe dinner will help?

Its gonna be a lazy weekend.

I don't know much (well, anything really) about Crossfit, but I thought the general idea was more high-intensity stuff. I'm surprised it encourages such incredibly high reps. What's the reasoning there?

There is some high-intensity stuff, but also lots of reps. In general the workouts are 10min - 30min long. you can see some of the standard ones here:

Fran, Nancy, Cindy, and Diane are some of the ones I've heard mentioned a lot.

There are workouts like "5-5-5-5-5 reps" of a weightlifting move, where the weight is the max you can do that rep scheme at. They occasionally do 1-1-1-1-1-1-1, but not often.
