Interesting article over at Reason. I'm a big fan of analyzing systems to discover the problems they create, without blaming the participants, and this is an excellent example.

In more banal news, my post-party illness continues unabated. My respiratory system just sucks at fighting off invaders. I wonder if the smoke in Vegas was a contributing factor? The zombie crud at xmas didn't help either, I'm sure. Sigh. I've been tempted to take antibiotics, but the internet insists that the vast majority of respiratory tract infections are viral.
